Dear Parents

I wanted to take the time to write this to explain what ASR FOOTBALL is all about.

We are an academy that focuses on individual player development not only winning teams. Games on Saturday are an extra for the kids to go out and play and have fun. It’s a sport right ? Don’t get me wrong I want to win more than anyone but “ play to win “ not win at all cost. I do not want to lose focus on how "the beautiful game" should be played and more importantly understanding the developmental stages of a child.

Our objective is to create an environment where every child, no matter what their level of ability, is able to learn and develop - and importantly, to do this in his/ her own time.

As a soccer school we are proud to say we have moved on an abundance of players to top tier clubs locally and abroad, including players that have represented Australia in the Green and Gold. We have also contributed to developing great individuals that have become successful in life outside of football and that is what gives me most satisfaction.

Our objective is to ensure each player in our program can be the best at whatever he/she wishes to be, not necessarily to only become the next big thing in soccer.

The education taught in a program like ASR is education that teaches more than football but enduring life skills. We should not lose focus of this.
